01Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of theinvestorsaccountant.com and the content, events, digital products, courses, and communications offered by Investors Accounting LLC, doing business as The Investors Accountant (“Investors Accounting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the site, booking a call, making a purchase, or opting in to our messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

02Educational content, not tax advice

Everything on this site, including our articles, e-books, templates, webinars, course lessons, calculators, the Tax Leak Scorecard, emails, and videos, is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice for your situation.

• Tax outcomes depend entirely on your specific facts and circumstances. Strategies such as cost segregation, bonus depreciation, Real Estate Professional Status, the short-term rental rules, and §1031 exchanges have strict eligibility requirements.
• Examples, figures, and savings estimates are illustrative only and are not a promise or guarantee of results.
• Tax law changes frequently. Content may not reflect the latest changes.
• We provide tax planning and advisory services. We do not provide legal services; entity, ownership, and asset-protection structures should be reviewed and implemented with a licensed attorney.

03No client relationship until you engage us

Using this site, buying a product, attending a webinar, or booking a free Discovery Call does not create an accountant-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and Investors Accounting both sign a written engagement letter, and the engagement letter, not these Terms, governs the professional services we provide.

Discovery Calls are free, carry no obligation, and are meant to help both of us decide whether working together makes sense. Please do not send confidential documents before an engagement is in place unless we ask you to use our secure client portal.

04Digital products and purchases

We sell digital products such as e-books, template kits, and online courses. When you buy one:

• Delivery. Downloads are available immediately after payment on the order confirmation page and are also sent to the email address you provide. Course access is granted to the account you purchase with.
• Pricing. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. Changes do not affect orders already placed. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.
• Payment. Payments are processed securely by our payment processor. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.
• Errors. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund your payment in full.

05Refunds

Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, all sales are generally final. That said, we want you to be happy with what you bought. If something is wrong, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will make it right, whether that means resending your download, fixing a file that will not open, or correcting a duplicate or mistaken charge.

Any refund beyond those situations is at our discretion. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, and your access to the product ends. To ask about a refund, email info@investorsaccounting.com with your order number.

06Your license to use our materials

When you buy a digital product, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may print copies for your own use and adapt the templates for your own records.

You may not resell, share, publish, post online, or redistribute our products, course materials, or login credentials, or use them to train others or create competing products, without our written permission. Course accounts are for one person. We may suspend access that is shared or used in violation of these Terms, without a refund.

07Text message (SMS) terms

Investors Accounting text messages. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Investors Accounting at that number. Messages may include:

• Clients, customers, and guests: appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling updates, client service notifications, and updates about your orders;
• Job applicants: application status, interview scheduling, and onboarding information;
• Marketing, only if you separately opted in: tax strategy tips, event invitations, and offers.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Standard rates are charged by your mobile carrier.
• Text STOP to cancel at any time. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.
• Text HELP for help, email info@investorsaccounting.com, or call (678) 690-5228.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Information obtained through SMS opt-in is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

08Email communications

If you opt in, we will send you educational emails and occasional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We will still send transactional messages related to your purchases or requests.

09Accounts

Some features, such as course access and order history, require an account. Please give accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity on your account.

10Intellectual property

The site and all of its content, including text, graphics, logos, videos, e-books, templates, course materials, and the design of the site, are owned by Investors Accounting LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Except as these Terms allow, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. You are welcome to share links to our pages.

11Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful purpose or to submit false information;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, other users’ accounts, or our systems;
• introduce malware, or scrape, copy, or harvest content or data by automated means;
• interfere with the site’s operation or security.

12Third-party services and links

The site uses and links to third-party services, such as our booking calendar, payment processor, client portal, and video platforms. We do not control those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE, ITS CONTENT, AND OUR DIGITAL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY STRATEGY WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR TAX RESULT.

14Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVESTORS ACCOUNTING LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TAXES, PENALTIES, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ITS CONTENT, OR OUR DIGITAL PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THEM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Liability for professional services is governed by your engagement letter.

15Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Investors Accounting LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms.

16Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

17General terms

• Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
• Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
• Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about use of the site. A signed engagement letter governs any professional services.
